Stewart Clark founded Forklift & LGV Training in 2020, bringing with him a wealth of industry experience and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality driver training. With over 16 years’ experience working with a wide range of forklift trucks and more than 22 years in the LGV sector, Stewart has developed a deep understanding of both operational standards and industry regulations.
Before establishing his own training company, Stewart spent eight years with Tyneside Training Services in Newcastle, where he worked as a Trainer and Assessor for Forklift and LGV disciplines. During the final four years of this role, he continued his work under the Gateshead College training provision, further enhancing his expertise within an accredited educational environment.
In 2017, Stewart achieved the Level 3 “Prepare to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector” qualification, enabling him to expand into classroom-based training. This allowed him to begin delivering Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) courses in line with the National Logistics Academy syllabus.
Today, Stewart combines extensive hands-on industry knowledge with recognised teaching qualifications to provide reliable, professional and compliant training to businesses and individual learners across the region.
