Forklift Training Overview

All forklift training is delivered in accordance with HSE Approved Code of Practice & Guidance L117 and accredited by BRITTOP. Training can be carried out on-site at your workplace or in the Coldstream / Berwick-upon-Tweed area.

  • Novice Operator – No previous experience required
  • Experienced Operator – For operators with experience but no formal certificate
  • Conversion Training – Switching from one truck type to another
  • Refresher Training – Recommended every 3–5 years
  • Counterbalance forklift
  • Reach truck
  • Powered pallet truck / pedestrian stacker
  • Pivot steer / articulated truck (available on request)

After passing the course, candidates receive:

  • BRITTOP-accredited Certificate of Basic Training
  • Compliance with HSE L117 forklift legislation
  • Optional operator ID card
  • Valid for approximately 3–5 years (then refresher training recommended)
  • On-site training available at customer premises (if suitable)
  • Local training available around Coldstream and Berwick-upon-Tweed
