Forklift Training Overview
All forklift training is delivered in accordance with HSE Approved Code of Practice & Guidance L117 and accredited by BRITTOP. Training can be carried out on-site at your workplace or in the Coldstream / Berwick-upon-Tweed area.
- Novice Operator – No previous experience required
- Experienced Operator – For operators with experience but no formal certificate
- Conversion Training – Switching from one truck type to another
- Refresher Training – Recommended every 3–5 years
- Counterbalance forklift
- Reach truck
- Powered pallet truck / pedestrian stacker
- Pivot steer / articulated truck (available on request)
After passing the course, candidates receive:
- BRITTOP-accredited Certificate of Basic Training
- Compliance with HSE L117 forklift legislation
- Optional operator ID card
- Valid for approximately 3–5 years (then refresher training recommended)
- On-site training available at customer premises (if suitable)
- Local training available around Coldstream and Berwick-upon-Tweed
